I like the tonics...except the ones that are duplicated with already pre-existing ones (frosty, grentch, candycorn, elf)...though it seems that since I got my everlasting the only thing I get to be with the mysterious ones is that one!....got the kunnie one once that was neat...never got to be the bees.
summoning stones....love the golem (still have like 90 of these left)--he killed off shiro and the end bosses in one of the charr hm quests (while most of the group was dead on the floor and the monk rezzing)..love the juggernaut..nothing like an energy boast when you are healing or nuking!
I think the stones in the fourman areas of ascalon are very helpful for us less 'leet people.

Yes i'm sure Mysterious Tonics seem inclined to make you whatever else is around over something random. It happens all too often that you end up with an identical skin to someone else in your guild hall or something when theres only 3 of you and what must be loads of skins.

The Siege Turtle is awesomely huge. I'm also a fan of the Crystal Guardian. He slips on Stoneflesh Aura before running in and just doesn't die.

The Bone Dragon transformation was the best I've had. It was bloody massive and I stomped around the town.

rofl Same here. Grrr It must have been a picture I saw of the rabbit, not a video.
Yeah I hate when I turn into something I had 50 million tonics of because of holiday events. Grrr they should remove those from the mysterious ones.

Best tonic ever is the mursaat. Epic!
Merchantile summoning stone is great, hands down. It's your own portable merchant!
Fighting wise, for a summoning monster, I'd say Siege Turtle. Nothing satisfies me more than to see a turtle blast everything to shambles. It's just great.

The Geki is good, but when your running from one dead mob to the next live one, i hate it when I get a screen full of geki butt...not a pretty sight.
hate the grentch.
Best on the list though I think...seige turtle, Oni, Juggernaut. I do take a merchant one with me if Im solo farming.
As for the tonics..seems like all I get out of the mysterious are the candy corn and the grentch. one time i did get the floating head...dont like that one either.

I enjoy both the tonics and the summoning stones.
The tonics are a nice source of party animal points for my title, and I consistently get 5-10 of them each week from the Traveler. I enjoy turning into the rainbow phoenix and the black moas the most, but it's simply fun to see what I'll get each time.
I find the summons helpful in my HM book building in Cantha, and other places. I have close to 30 mysterious summoning stones and 70 merchantile, so I use them a lot, simply because I can. I don't have any issues with the summons staying alive, even in hard mode. I've had melee summons (kveldulf, juggy, etc) survive through vizunah HM and other foe packed areas. I think my favorites are the juggy and the white rabbit, although the crystal spider (mesmer) is nice too.
Overall I think these were nice additions to the game. They are easy to get, without having to buy them so essentially anyone has access to them.

I thought tonics were a fine addition when people were just using them during in game festivals. Now that there are Bone Dragons, Rainbow Phoenixes, Charr, etc. everywhere, I'm getting kinda sick of tonics. They're taking away from the unique atmosphere each campaign has. (imo)

The best everlasting tonic is the ooze. That guy always gets lots of love in towns. People always want to stand inside of him.

I had that happen to me in ascalon when i was an ooze
I ran over to the water did /sit /stand and disappeared into the water
as for Shewmake I agree with him but I think ppl should only use them in main towns like LA, KC, ascalon, Spamadan, and the monastary

hehehe I love the ooze too. I like being able to use the tonics anywhere, but if it were just limited to that list, I'd like to add guild hall to it.

well it kinda takes away from the feel... I remember after I had beaten EOTN on my derv for the first time, I zoned back to a town and got a big face full of yeti butt. totally ruined the moment.

LOL! I'm sorry but that was funny. I've had that happen too, only instead of yeti it was Sif Shadowhunter. Every time I spawn in there. tsk tsk WTB Norn bear tonic!

Alright I haven't really been in the loop for PvE, so I don't know much about the summoning stones... but I do know what the most annoying tonic is. If I hear one more Abyssal grunt in an outpost I'm going to scream at the unfortunate person under the tonic's effects.

I rofl'd. I know, those abyssal grunts are annoying. The first time I heard one I had my speakers cranked. I just hear this RAWR! I jumped about 10 feet and my fiance was like wtf. After that I shut the sound off. I really hope you're not around if I turn into an abyssal. hahahaha

Easy fix for that. The only sound I have on is the dialogue for cut scenes and whatnot. I'm usually listening to my own music or talking on a headset, anyway.
On topic, I love the tonics and the summoning stones. It's quite entertaining to turn into something else and chase guildmates around in circles (at least it is for me ^_^; ) and an extra adventuring boost never hurt anyone. I've personally never gotten a merch stone (yet!) but I've had teammates carrying them through dungeons, and boy does it make a difference in how packed your inventory becomes. I think it's all a good and fun addition.
